Borrowing Kerri's Post

Why write your own stuff when someone said it pretty darn well already?

I'd like you all to read a post by my friend Kerri. It's political. It's thought provoking.

Here it is:

http://kerrisgreenhouse.blogspot.com/2009/09/yes-im-going-there.html

Go read it.

Then tell me what you think.

We should definately be respectful of others opinions but there are some real dangerous things going on that SHOULD make people angry. If anger is what it takes to get people to do something, so be it. We don't need to remain angry, just proactive. I will not sit idly by thinking things "aren't that bad" when our children's futures are a stake. This country was preserved by God for the gospel to come about and our administration is trying to radically change the very core of what has made this country a divine success. Even Moroni was ticked off enough to fight for the things that mattered to him and I admire him.

I agree with you, Kerri's post was very well written. It scares me to think how people can take something positive(getting an education) and turn it into something so hateful and negative. By the way, are you feeling any better? D.C.

I agree with your friend's post. Totally, absolutely and unequivocally agree. Glad to see someone feels the same way.

I appreciate Kerry's blog post. Thought provoking. I like what Sherilyn had to say as well. Obama said himself "It is time to fundamentally change this nation." The fundamentals are fine. They were put in place by our founding fathers. They need to be protected, not changed. Agreed, that it should not be discussed and approached in the spirit of hate and anger but we do need to be aware and not lulled into thinking everything will be made right by this new president when unbelievable things are happening right before our eyes but the media will not report on them. It pains me to see it all. Thank goodness we know that goodness will prevail in the very end, no matter what. We also know that this nation will see hard times and the constitution will hang by a thread. Thank you for the post. I'm a little late at reading your blog Malisa. What a bad sister I am.
